The raindrops pound on my windowsill
Tears cascade slowly down my face
I'm in intense pain
Loneliness engulfs my soul
I'm helpless...so it seems
I feel worn
The clouds have ravished my head
Hope has abandoned my heart
My world has fallen apart
Darkness overcomes me
Laughter's a distant dream
Happiness evades me
The sparkle has left my eyes
I'm caressed by melancholy
I'm lost
